Planning an extended absence due to a work assignment or vacation? Do you have a family member living alone who could benefit from periodic property check-ins? Are you an international investor or financial institution seeking regular updates on a vacant property?
Vacant properties are often susceptible to a range of issues. Pests, such as cockroaches, can sense the absence of human activity and may invade living spaces. Additionally, water lines can develop leaks at any time—this includes two water lines at each sink, one at each toilet, the refrigerator water line, water heater, dishwasher line, washer line, and more. During the rainy season, roof leaks are also common and can lead to significant damage if not promptly addressed. Prolonged stagnation of water at fixtures can result in fixture damage, including the calcification of openings. To mitigate these risks, we offer property updates up to four times per month, helping to monitor and reduce the potential for damage.
During each property inspection, we provide a comprehensive range of services, including:
1. Collecting mail and, upon request, emailing you photographs of any important documents.
2. Conducting a thorough visual inspection of both the interior and exterior of the property.
3. Checking for leaks by inspecting water valves for sinks, toilets, washers, water heaters, etc., and thoroughly examining ceilings for any signs of roof leaks.
4. Running hot and cold water lines at all sinks and showers to prevent calcification and potential fixture damage.
5. Starting vehicles to ensure their proper function.
And much more, tailored to meet your specific needs.
